Nel nastro orizzontale superiore il disegno di 13 raggi di rosso ed oro i colori dei conquistatores spagnoli e della bandiera della Spagna che rappresentano le 13 colonie originali ma anche i tramonti leggendari dell'Arizona. Il nastro orizzontale inferiore è blu. Nel centro della bandiera una stella color rame rappresenta le risorse minerarie. Il resto della bandiera è blu colorato.
