Descrizione
La bandiera ha due nastri verticali di rosso, bianco (di doppia ampiezza rispetto a quelli rossi) e rosso colori derivati da quelli usati dai crociati anglo francesi e divenuti poi anche i colori nazionali canadesi.Una foglia di acero canadese rossa a 11 punte è concentrata sul nastro bianco ad angolo retto e simboleggia il Canada essendone un simbolo unitario conosciuto fin dal XIX secolo.
